A very sweet scene Viv. The couple seem to be quite happy in the snow and they still have green leaves to prove it.  [smile]  i love the way you drew the trunks with the various colours in them, nice soft colours, and I've seen trunks like that joined low down. Maybe they were 2 trees in the beginning grown in one spot, or broken off at some point causing a double trunk tree. Nice purple mountains beyond bringing in that sense of distance.  You must have felt a bit hot or cold when you drew this?  [tongue]  [smile] Robyn

Your colors and textures produce a feeling of cold that's very effective. I'm like the tress trying to hang onto the warmer seasons.

Thanks Robyn for liking this.  I actually started it in the middle of a freezing cold winter day and took  my time finishing it.   It was an idea from a newspaper pic.

Thanks for your lovely encouraging comment Bob.  I'm glad that I managed to produce the feelings of cold.  I also love the warmer seasons.  To Me cold is really painful.
