So, I decided to try the scribble brush for the first time, (Dave - not a chance you'll see waves from me anytime soon using the scribbler set, lol) I did try and wound up with this instead. It's only a selfie in the sense I'm usually at the PC these days playing with the string brushes.

Pretty cool. I think it takes nerve to do and post a selfie plus to post a first effort with a brush. I have done a few scribblers and they are challenging. So not an exact likeness?[smile]

This is sooooooooo cute Suzette and I have to agree with Bob's comment.  You are really game to try these different brushes.  Well done.

Thanks Vivienne, this was simply a stress reliever after attempting waves with it first. chuckle

Suzette, just a thought. How I read Dave's comments was that he scribbled the waves not used the scribble brushes. You might check with him. I'd hate to have you struggling for a misunderstanding. In looking closely at his waves I don't see any sign of the scribbler spread on the curves. Hope I'm not out of line.[smile]

Thank you for revisiting this it did not take me long to "jump out of the water" with what I was trying to use. Who knows, he is talented enough he could have actually used the scribbler set. I will ask him to clarify though.

What a sweetheart she is Suzette. I love her cute profile with such a determined set to her lips, which you obviously must have with all the pics you turn out.  I use the pro artists pen and the pro sketching pen sometimes and they have the same sort of random thickened lines as the scribbler that you used.  i use it for the same sort of pic you've done here, sort of toon style.  [smile]  Robyn
