Intermediate Egret on the left, Great Egret on the right, and a bunch of silver gulls on a rock formation, that was soon under water as the tide came in.

Well that is a vast difference in size Sandra. I saw on the net that there was a smaller version as well. Your photo shows up their wonderful whiteness. [smile] Robyn

Yes, the Little Egret, also called the Cattle Egret. It's more of a land based bird.

It's fading mating plumage.  It goes quite orange during mating season.
