Hi there,
I would like to see a mirror function which lets you define where you want to have the midpoint of the mirror and the axis of the mirror. Example: You drawing a corridor, left and right side is the same. But you do not want the vanishing point in the center of your image, you want it to be pushed more to one side. The horizontal alignment you do not want it to be horizontal but in a in a 30° tilted line to the left.
If applicable to all drawing brushes, I suppose that could be a exiting tool and a time saver!

Heiner

Hi Heiner,

This feature already exists with the Drawing Guides tool:

Thanks,

Hi Ken,
I just gave the Drawing Guides a closer look as you suggested. To my surprise I could not get a single one of the mirroring tools to work. When I try to do exactly what you do in the video, I do not get a result, what happens is that my single stroke shows up, thats it. Bug?
I am on 24.06, which is to my knowledge the latest version.

Heiner

What brush are you using? Or post the brush code here and we can take a look.

The drawing guide only sets the axis, it doesn't turn on any kind of mirroring or symmetry. Your brush still needs to have the page mirroring or page symmetry effects. The brush you have shared in your post does not have any of those effects.

Ok, now I get it.
I will put some more attention into that.
But on first sight I would say usage is a bit akward!
Thanks for making me understand that aspect of TB.

Heiner
