Forever fraternal pix.jpg
I am more fascinated with identical twins but with fraternal twins the closeness between the two is a very special thing for the most part. Sometimes that closeness is not there from what I've seen, but they can't deny that extra life together in the womb. Even when they part, each to live a different life as with these twins, the pull to be together is strong. It is unbelievable how much extra work it is for the parents as well. Who would think that one extra baby would make all that much difference.  lol
I started this as an experiment. I had drawn the girl and decided to reverse her face and turn her into a boy. I left the eyes exactly the same, apart from the heavier lids in the boy and the lashes. I may not ever do that again lol, it's been ages...  Also I can't draw beards so he's just got a fine bit of hair as an apology for a moustache.  (  ( :=)) My regards to all, Rob/yn

So much alike they could be identical Robyn but there are subtle differences eg I think the young man's chin is stronger, and maybe the more delicate bonework on his sister.  Love that faint moustache. This is really beautiful work and I love the softness of it all.

Thanks a lot for the love Vivienne and I'm happy you see the subtle changes as well as the obvious. I wanted to give him a shadow on the beard area as though the hair had started to grow again, but disasterous results  [rofl] Remember Pat Lee? He did amazing moustaches and beards. They looked as though you could run a comb through them, they were so thick and wiry looking.  My twins aren't in an age category where that would be the case though. Did you pick that she lives in the city and he in the country?  [smile] Rob
