Pressing S to switch from present tool to Brush, does not always work.

Which leads to quite often, selecing ot bucketpainting or doing something that needs to be undone, although expecting that I'd pressed S to switch to Brush and ready to just do brushstrokes ..

Hi Wesley,
I've had TB for many years. Have never heard of S as hot key.
TB works as Left Click for brushes & Left Click for Tools as default.
But can be reversed in Edit>>Preferences. Or using Quick Command.
Q.C. can be set up for one time use of any given tool

Hope this helps You.

Hi,
Have never used this shortcut. But I did Check at:

http://help.pixarra.com/m/Shortcuts/l/40574-keyboard-shortcuts

Which has all the Keyboard Shortcuts. Checked all Tools Listed.
I not sure but I believe you have to keep the key depressed while using them?

The tool icon will always appear to show tool in use.

Why would you need to change to Brush as a Tool?
Left click is a Brush by default. Right click is Tool Picked.

Hi Wesley,

I'm not able to replicate the issue with the keypress not select the correct tool. Do you find that you get one stroke and then it reverts back to the previously selected tool?  If yes then you are holding the S key too long and engaging the temporary tool switch feature.

Do you have this issue on any other tools?

Thanks,
Ken
