Hello,
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong; above a normal layer (which happens to be B&W) is a Layer Mask and above it is an HSL Color layer. After applying color I want to adjust the mask but the paint is way lagging in application and if I move the mouse (without left clicking) over an area already painted-over (but no application showing yet), then much of the application shows up. At some point out of the blue (for instance, I was at the online help section), the whole monitor display will cycle off and on and fragments of the web browser and TB will flash on the screen. This situation never resolves itself and I have to resort to powering down the computer at the switch. It's definitely not an issue with computer capacity. I hope there is a solution to this because I am at the point of being afraid to use the program anymore as I don't want it damaging my computer.
Thanks,
Steve

Solution, don't use layer masks and other blend layers together - only use a regular mask.

I will flag this as something to look into.
Glad you have found a solution.
