Nice work. I have a few around here and they actually sound like TAP TAP TAP. Excellent foliage.

Excellent work Don.  We don't have any over here but I do think the are very clever tap tap tapping away.  Also a good way to keep their beaks sharpened

Oh so beautiful Don!  I read up on these amazing birds a while back and I was fascinated. I love your trees, wow, so beautiful and real looking. [smile] Robyn

Here's the ultimate end of the tap, tap tapping and there are some amusing moments with yak, yak yacking.

Yes so funny Don.  I raised a naked baby bird once and had to feed it very frequently. When it was hungry he had his beak open all the time and wouldn't shut it, but when he had enough to eat there was no way you could prise that beak open to put more food in there. Quite an experience for me. He turned into a very sleek streamlined looking green bird.  [smile]  Robyn

A different sort Don. I adore puppies, a lot more work, but so worth it.  ... [smile]
