I had this problem with my old pc on w7. Now ive got a new pc and w10 (had w10 on old pc since this january) but still there is no possibillity to import or export PSD. Can someone PLEASE help me solve this?

Hi Marion,

Likely it's permissions related on your computer.

Try to run TwistedBrush as administrator.

If still a problem try to run in compatibility mode.

Hi Ken, where do i find this window? And should i check  XP there?

Well, found the window properties. Run compatibillity mode and administrator both checked. Funny, some psd opens others however i get some scrambled image as you can see. Why is that?
Is the total of layers a fixed amount or are there more added when i get close to the last one?

PSD is a proprietary image format by Adobe. They don't publish the details for that format for a long time. So newer versions of PSD files will not be compatible also layer mixing modes will be completely different. 

Are you able to save to PSD from TwistedBrush and then open that same PSD file back into TwistedBrush?

Thanks for your quick reply Ken. Yes i can save and open as psd from TB now, so thats great!

As far as lack of greater compatibility of PSD files, you can thank Adobe for that. 😉
