Are you looking to just create a texture for use by ubTexture brush effects or is your goal to create some brush that has a texture or applies a texture?

Hi Larry,
I assume that you have created a/some ub Texture Files?
That you have  Filed into the TB Files?
If So you only need to ad the ub Texture effect to your brush.
By opening File Reference> ub Texture  Banks>  0-19 - 0-100.

Hi Lorenzo,
Your solution works to an extent and will come in handy for some brushes. But what I am looking for is a brush that lays down the texture as the stroke is layed out(see "A" in attached picture)."B" is a stroke made using your solution.Thank you for your help, greatly appreciated.

Hi Larry,
Density is what powers Texture.
The Lower The Density the Greater amount of Texture seen.
The higher the density is the more Soiled the stroke will be.
And you must use a brush that has Density shown in Brush control panel.
You could also add a Density Adj. Effect to brush whit UI slider.

Hi Larry,

Sorry for the delay. Was this what you were looking for?

The ubtexture doesn't produce a non-distorted texture. The ubTexture patterns are used to randomly select  a part of the pattern repeatedly always giving a random result. If are you looking to have that pattern directly represented exactly as in your ubtexture let me know and I can give some pointers, or at least investigate it.

Hi Larry, I did some research and there isn't a way to use the texture as fixed pattern. You could manually do this with the paper layer or just a separate layer and use a texture or texture2 layer mixing mode.

The Pixarra supplied textures aren't seamless since they aren't used in that way.
