@ Ken,actually Ken the code you posted is wrong again if therealyez wannts the brush to start and stay in the cursor center the " pRend LinSA,combo,9,9 " needs to be removed from the code at least that is whats happening in Versoin 23.06.here is the code that works for me:

Hi Larry,

That will turn off stroke smoothing. That isn't the default. The main problem main was the extreme slow down of the brush because it was generating likely 1000 of particles.

Thanks,
Ken

As far as I can tell it's not a issue in the release. I suspect his brush was corrupt somehow on his install or accidentally changed in his shortcuts. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ken!

It helped! I went in the art set, searched for the brush name and double clicked on it and it worked. Thank you very much.

Can you take a look at this one (Pro Pen Artist), it seem to have the same problem. I tried to do what I did with the other troubled brush but it's still getting slower on draw, especially quick draw. here's the brush code:

** START BRUSH CODE

Coverage 100 percent feather
0,255,0,0,0,255,0,0,0,255,255,255,255

Size Max,combo,2,5
pEmit Rnd,combo,0,0
pMove Smooth[1]Tightness[2]5[3]46[4],combo,3,0

That Artist Pen is better suited for a smaller brush size. Try 4 - 6. This brush at a larger size can be slow because in fact this brush is intended to make a bunch of particles. 😉  That is why the size is limited to 25.
