Hi Roadkill,
I'm not quite sure I understand your question.
Twistedbrush as a whole is it's own unique software program.
So I assume the format used is Twistedbrush.

Hi RoadKill, as Lorenzo mentioned Pixarra products use it's own brush engine and brush format. Each program can export and import brushes in a plain text format for sharing between our products.

Hope that helps,
Ken

Hi Roadkill & Ken,
While were on the subject of BRUSHES.
Over the years of TB Ken has made it possible to use other Programs brushes???
By means of a Plug-in that I have never tried.

I spent almost all my time making Brushes rather the Painting,
Which was my intention when I bought the TB Software for so long ago.

TwistedBrush and related programs don't use other programs brushes. Perhaps you are thinking about support for Adobe Photoshop filters?

Ken,
Yes that is what I now recall as a new added feature.

In TwistedBrush, brushes are packaged into ArtSets which have two files with a .pre and .bmp extension. Individual brushes are only represented in the text import and export format.
