Want to drop several .jpgs on different layers (to eventually edit and merge), but can't figure out how to do it. Tried locking background and selecting 2nd layer but can only import as new which always replaces background. Could not find an import to layer feature. I suspect that is because the layers are meant for adding Tree Studio features, and I will have to work with each .jpg individually rename and save them, then use TB to put them on different layers and merge as required. Is that correct?
    Thanks Dave

    Hi Dave,

Import the JPG (or PNG, PSD) to Page-1, Page-2...
Then Copy Layer or Copy Merged Layer.
Then in Page-3 use Paste Into.

    PS.
Note. JPG does not support transparency.

    Hi Dave,

Tree Studio is not designed at this point for pulling in new content. You can use the Paste Into Layer menu command but without the option to position the layer contents your success may be limited. Tree Studio is foremost designed for creating a tree that you may pull into another program for a larger composition.

This may change in the future.
